Towns & Neighborhoods: Vickery

Winner of a Best in American Living (BALA) Award, Vickery was master-planned by Duany Plater-Zyberk.  The community consists of 250 acres with 25 percent green space.  Houses have been constructed according to Earthcraft specifications, and represent building types from early twentieth-century architecture with distinctive personalities meant to communicate with one another.  Close attention was paid to topography, existing natural features, preservation of landscape, and nonpolluting light pools.
